For personal use, Facebook , Instagram , Twitter , SnapChat , Tumblr ,  Pinterest and YouTube are popular social media platforms.  Facebook , Instagram , Pinterest , Twitter and YouTube all offer options to "like", comment, and share posts to friends, family or followers.  Examples of use are vlog-ing via YouTube;  offer creative resources on Pinterest;  socially blog on Tumblr;  instant message on SnapChat; Facebook is widely used to connect through personal stories and pictures; and Instagram  and Twitter can be used to share travels or trending headlines. Aloha classmates of CSIT 155!  I hope you all are enjoying the sunshine today. Speaking of sunshine, I chose this blog template because of the wonderful memories I have visiting the Hawaiian Islands with family and friends.  The blue water and blue background is so calming to me, so I hope it invites a bit of tranquility to you as you read. Another reason for selecting this template is a reminder of the beautiful outdoors.  Often times I find myself online or inside a building too long.  This template, color scheme and background picture reminds me to take a break and breathe some fresh air or get active outside! The blog template is under the Contempo category.   Contemporary means "present day"; so it reminds me to live in the moment - to be mindful, but not have my mind full.  :)  This design is simple as well.  The two-column format provides the main body section for the blog entries and comments and a sidebar for various fun tidbit...
